This weeks tune is a mandolin thing about the people I appreciate and respect, the people I see as 'my people' I guess, folks who are open about their pain and bad times and such, and this song is to encourage them, "sing a little louder, be a little prouder", it's kind of about my own feelings towards these folks too. Painful crap happens to everyone, using it to be better, that's the way to be, and I feel for folks, I've been through some horrible nasty stuff myself, I get it, and I feel like I'm 'got' too I'd say. Hello listeners. This weeks tune has a Hansel and Gretel reference, a bit about about dodgy Indian call centres pretending to be Telstra tech support and a general sense of... grey I guess would be the best word, not sad grey, more like confused. There's the usual hidden meanings I could just tell you, but songs do their own things to their own people, so I won't, even though these are all positive things, a lot of it is really rough anyways, this one may receive a rewrite at some point.
