Episode 164-Illustrations From The Big Book For Boys

Hello listeners, this weeks song is real simple I guess, a couple folks I know have gotten together, seems like a good idea, this is a tune for them, by way of encouragement. It's also about me, about my perspective on the possibility of such a thing for myself, me trying to tell myself to own that I'm an ok guy and stop thinking about such stuff, start working on my own shit. Which I've been trying to do, got out and played in front of people on Sunday and cancelled a date with a random internet stranger to do so, because who wants a random internet stranger anyways. Energy, it's all about where your energy goes, maybe...?

Anyways, here's a drawing/video to go with the tune:

Thanks for your time, hope you enjoy.

Episode 163-From Way Down Here

Hello listeners. This weeks tune is for people who are way too hard on themselves, I'd say I am sometimes, possibly we all are, I think it kinda speaks for itself so I won't type an essay here. Hope you enjoy it.

Here's a video/drawing to go with it:

Thanks for your ears and your time, much appreciated.

Episode 162-Cecil

Hello listeners. This weeks tune was written quietly on a uke, but recorded loudly with distortion and drums and bass and the like. Lyrics wise it's another abstract thing, kind of about mental illness, feeling a little crazy. Anyways, I'm not sure how I feel about it but it was definitely fun to make, so I hope it's a fun listen. Thanks for your time and ears, if you wanna see a video/drawing that goes with the tune, that'd be here:

Episode 161-Just Be Less Of A Dick, (& You'll Be Happier)

Hello listeners. Facebook told me this is International Women's Day 2016. So here's a song about how men who sleaze onto women suck and are unreachable and behave like tantrum-y children when rejected, (I've seen it, it's hilarious but can also be frightening because they're big and often like to hit things or other big children, or just whoever's in their way). It's judgemental for sure but the bridge is me confessing that I thought maybe this worked for a while there, that manly-man-ness was achieved this way. It isn't. I never tried it either, I'm incapable, doesn't make me any better than anyone, it's just nature and nurture and all that stuff.
Anyways, hopefully it's a fun listen, not supposed to be taken too seriously.
Happy International Women's Day, Women are awesome, treat them with respect and dignity, (just like I'm sure you treat everyone anyways).

Thanks for listening, here's a video/drawing to go with the tune:

Episode 160-Oxford Street

Hello listeners. This weeks tune is a hyperbolised spun dark telling of meeting an old buddy recently, which was great, but can be spun darkly via too much thinking on purpose in order to make a song. It's a short, banjolele/synthy thing, low energy, because I am, but soon I'll be sleepin so that's OK. Here's a video for it:

Thanks for listening.
