Episode 194-It's A Cage

https://ia601502.us.archive.org/7/items/CeskyLivesEpisode194-itsACage/Clep194-itsACage.mp3

Hello listeners. This weeks tune is about social anxiety, I went to a party recently, of a great dude, good song writer, (this guy; https://daverobertson.bandcamp.com/), I spoke to a bunch of really nice people but on the inside was pushing against a massive urge to just go lie down someplace quiet and pretend I didn't exist. This song is I guess like an imagined cynical inner demon speaking about that situation, it's supposed to be a little jokey. Anyways, hope you enjoy and thanks for listening.

Episode 193-Dewey's Beard

Hello listeners. This weeks song is a distorted Ukulele messy thing about cake and the Dewey Decimal system. Also it's about the best piece of advice I ever got and always find really hard to take, "there are no short cuts", something an Uncle of mine said to me when I was not very old, and he was, and still is right. Also a buddy of mine Craig Griffen has been advising me in a similar manner, on not skipping chapters, slowing down some, not something I'm good at, but I agree with the idea entirely. Anyways, it's not a super serious song, hope it's a good listen.

Episode 192-Goodbye To The Bargain Bin Life

Hello listeners, this weeks tune is about positive thinking I guess, it's a Mandolin/Bongo's/U-Bass tune, slightly less simple than last weeks minimalist thing but still fairly simple. I guess it's also about positive people, changing for the better, learning, growing up, all that stuff, not that I'm currently some kind of power of positivity rainbow coloured unicorn or anything, but I'm feelin OK, things have a whiff of looking up about them, if I allow them to. Hope it's s nice listen anyways.

Episode 191-Light The Moon

Hello listeners. This weeks tune is a simple little lullaby-ish Banjo thing based on my memories of that Eric Carle book where the Dad goes to get the moon for his son on a huge long ladder. My son Sam, (10), played some subtle effectsy guitar over it for me and there's also some field recording, (holding a mic at my open door), of some rain and passing cars. The drawing for this weeks tune was done collectively by my son Sam and his brother Elliot, (link below if you wanna have a look). Thanks for your time and ears as always.
