Hello listeners. This weeks tune comes from some old dark places so I won't tell you what it's about so much, except to say that it's positive underneath, despite probably sounding not at all that way. Hopefully it's a nice listen for you anyways. Thanks for your time and ears. Below is a link to a drawing/video to go with the song:

Episode 215-F*knugget

Hello listeners. This weeks tune is a bit of reminiscence on the effects that way too much drinking can have on me, and how not doing that is good. It's also about self deprecation I guess, but not in a bad way, more aimed at past things than things happening today. There's some stuff about Jesus in there too, losing to win and the like, the conundrum that is seemingly awful behaviour being rewarded with success and gain and such, but maybe that gain is empty and attempting to do better in a human sense is more important. I hope so anyways. Hope it's a fun listen anyways, bit of swearing in there if that's not your thing. Thanks for your time and ears, and support.

Episode 214-The Leper, The Cripple & The Light Of The World

Hello listeners. I've been listening to a whole lot of 'The Innocence Mission' a band who sings songs about Jesus, (and a ton of other things), because they believe in the man, but not in a preachy way, in a really personal lovely, excellent way, I recommend you listen to them if you dig calming kinda sounds. Anyways that and my reconnection of late with the whole Jesus thing led to the writing of this song, which is not as calm as Innocence Mission, but is written like I would write a thing rather than just using words out of the Bible like 'worship' and 'hallelujah' and the like, (although hallelujah is a pretty good word). As always I'm not preaching at you, these are just things happening in my head, acceptance and the like from a higher power being not such a terrible idea to latch on to it seems. Hope it's a nice listen anyways, the idea is to find a way to sing about this stuff without alienating or excluding anyone, because it's a part of my experience and I write songs to share my experience. Thanks for your time and ears, here's a video/drawing to go with the tune:

Episode 213-Devils

Hello listeners. This tune was written on the bass, real simple, real dark sounding thing about memories of reading about King Herod sending men out to kill baby boys in case they were Jesus, because he was scared of losing his power, and how there's definitely some universal truth in that story that's fairly painful and also kind of happening everywhere, small scale, large scale, always. Anyways, hopefully you enjoy it, was fun to play and mix and the like.
